Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I absolutely hate going to the dentist!!! I work hard brushing, flossing show up for cleanings every 3 months so when I do have to go it’s just a cleaning. Today, I had to have a deep cleaning. I told the RDH, Katherine, I would rather be chased by zombies that want to eat me than be there! To my surprise the process was not awful. Katherine took her time, walked me through everything she was doing and it was almost painless. Kudos to Katherine for the care and kindness she provided to me! I appreciate you.
